Camp Companion Axe - Hardcore Edition

They claim this is the Camp Axe perfected. I was skeptical especially for the price. Worth every penny and I do agree on perfection. The handle and weight are just right. Love it.

Will say….(Disclaimer) I haven’t used it yet but it’s beautiful, well made and you can tell serious attention to detail was made. The handle had no finish but then again this is my first survival axe so maybe that’s culture I have no idea. I’ll also say I’m a blue collar tradesman that can recognize fine craftsmanship, and this meets it. Well done.

Axe head is nice but the handle needs to go on a big diet. The axe eye is very small which would be fine if the handle was just as small. Big fat handle on a small axe.

I just used it when clearing trees for my orchard. Cut right through tough 6" thick honeysuckle and briar trunks and just as sharp as when I started. My new favorite tool.
